Basketball Game Preview: Preston Indians vs. West Field Longhorns

The Preston Indians will head out on the road to face off against the West Field Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Preston's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

Last Saturday, Preston was able to grind out a solid win over Mountain Crest, taking the game 58-47. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 11th in Idaho, while the Mustangs are ranked 93rd in Utah), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West Field came up short against Weber on Tuesday and fell 67-54.

West Field's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Preston, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
