Basketball Recap: Cedarcrest Skates Past Lindbergh with Ease

Cedarcrest waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 56-16 win over the Lindbergh Eagles. The Red Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 32 points or more this season.

Leading Cedarcrest to victory were Stella Metcalf and Avery Dice. Metcalf posted eight points in addition to nine steals and eight assists, while Dice went 9 of 10 on her way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Davis, who put up eight points.

Cedarcrest's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lindbergh, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Cedarcrest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-33 defeat against Interlake on the 13th. Lindbergh has also already played their next game, an 18-17 win against Evergreen on the 13th.
