Basketball Game Preview: San Elizario Eagles vs. Riverside Rangers

The San Elizario Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Riverside Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. San Elizario has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, San Elizario didn't have too much trouble with Fabens as they won 46-31.

Meanwhile, Riverside entered their tilt with Mountain View on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They skirted past the Lobos 50-48.

Riverside pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for San Elizario, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-18.

San Elizario ended up a good deal behind Riverside in their previous matchup back in January, losing 58-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Riverside's Marcus Jauregui, who posted 23 points.
