Volleyball Recap: Sandhills Classical Christian Starts off Right with Win over the O'neal School

Sandhills Classical Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past The O'Neal School Falcons 3-0 on Friday.

One reason for the win was Sandhills Classical Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, 25-13.

Sandhills Classical Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Devina Sherwood, who had 12 digs. Another player making a difference was Jersi Olsen, who had seven digs and three aces.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandhills Classical Christian will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for The O'Neal School, they will host Village Christian Academy at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
