Volleyball Game Preview: Spanaway Lake Sentinels vs. South Kitsap Wolves

The Spanaway Lake Sentinels will challenge the South Kitsap Wolves at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Spanaway Lake is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Spanaway Lake came up short against Emerald Ridge on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, South Kitsap played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Bethel. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 21-25, 25-22.

Spanaway Lake better keep an eye on Carly Lyons. She was instrumental in South Kitsap's win, getting 15 assists and seven digs. Those 15 assists gave Lyons a new career-high.

South Kitsap's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Spanaway Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
