Soccer Recap: Columbia Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Battle Creek last Tuesday, Columbia Central came back down to earth. The Columbia Central Lions fell just short of the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Lions couldn't quite close it out.

Columbia Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Shelbyville Central, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Columbia Central will be playing at home against Warren County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shelbyville Central, they will square off against Coffee County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
