Baseball Recap: High Tech SD Takes a Loss

High Tech SD lost against Crawford back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The High Tech SD Storm lost 16-5 to the Crawford Colts. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landon Carroll made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Jesse Rubio also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

High Tech SD's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Crawford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High Tech SD will host High Tech CV at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. High Tech SD has given up an average of 7.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Crawford, they will be playing at home against Southwest SD at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
