Basketball Game Preview: Colbert Leopards vs. Soper Bears

The Colbert Leopards will face off against the Soper Bears at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Colbert is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Caddo just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 75-58 to the Bruins. While losing is never fun, the Leopards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Bruins are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Soper was beaten by Milburn 67-30 on Thursday.

Colbert's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Soper, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.

Everything came up roses for Colbert against Soper when the teams last played back in January of 2025, as the team secured a 58-27 win. Will the Leopards repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
