Basketball Game Preview: Puckett Wolves vs. West Lincoln Bears

The Puckett Wolves will head out to face off against the West Lincoln Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Puckett is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.1 points per game this season.

Puckett took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 58-50 victory over Stringer.

Puckett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaleb Coleman, who posted 19 points. Coleman's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Matt Rankin, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, West Lincoln lost 46-26 to Enterprise on Friday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory got Puckett back to even at 6-6. As for West Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Puckett strolled past West Lincoln when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 61-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
