Baseball Recap: Green Lake/Princeton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Randolph on Thursday, Green Lake/Princeton came back down to earth. The Tigersharks came up short against the Fall River Pirates on Tuesday, falling 10-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigersharks have suffered since April 10th.

Green Lake/Princeton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Bond, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The Tigersharks are 4-1 when Bond posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Grant Bartol was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Green Lake/Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Fall River, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Green Lake/Princeton will be playing in front of their home fans against Randolph at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fall River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
