St. Patrick has gone a perfect 10-0 against Our Lady Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The St. Patrick Fighting Irish will host the Our Lady Academy Crescents at 6:30 p.m. St. Patrick is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
St. Patrick is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 15-2 margin over Perry Central on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Fighting Irish with their most commanding win of the season.

St. Patrick got a massive performance out of Addysen Peyret, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave Peyret a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Tara Nasakaitis, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
St. Patrick always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .703. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Our Lady Academy came up short against Forrest County Agricultural on Tuesday, falling 14-4. The Crescents have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Our Lady Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicole Bradford, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
St. Patrick's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Our Lady Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. St. Patrick hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. However, it's not like Our Lady Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .335. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went St. Patrick's way against Our Lady Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as St. Patrick made off with a 21-0 win. Will St. Patrick repeat their success, or does Our Lady Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
