Volleyball Recap: Wapsie Valley Warriors vs. Anamosa Raiders

After losing to Anamosa the last time they met, Wapsie Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
Sawyer Buhr paced Wapsie Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Buhr got some help from Tessa Brunscheon and her 19 assists.
Wapsie Valley's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Anamosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
Wapsie Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Davenport Central on the 4th. As for Anamosa, they will venture away from home to face off against Beckman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
