Softball Recap: Crandall Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Crandall had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 7-3 win over Poteet on Thursday. Crandall hasn't had any issues with Poteet recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Crandall's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-10. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Poteet, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-6.

Crandall will have a chance to go back-to-back against Poteet: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
