Softball Recap: First Academy Takes a Loss

If First Academy was riding high fresh off their 19-10 takedown of Legacy Charter two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. First Academy lost 11-1 to the Real Life Christian Academy Raptors on Thursday. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

First Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayleigh Collop, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

First Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Real Life Christian Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

First Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 23-3 victory against Hernando Christian Academy on the 21st. As for Real Life Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Oasis Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
