Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vance Charter). They blew past the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions, posting a 76-42 win. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Excelsior Classical Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jason Maldonado, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds, and Shawn Francis-Service, who posted 15 points and four steals. Francis-Service's evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Vance Charter's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

Vance Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-31 win against Eno River Academy on the 17th. Excelsior Classical Academy has also already played their next match, a 79-29 victory against Cristo Rey Research Triangle on the 15th.
