Volleyball Game Preview: Clovis North Broncos vs. Clovis East Timberwolves

Clovis North hasn't had much luck against Clovis East recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Broncos will take on the Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. Clovis North will be strutting in after a victory while Clovis East will be coming in after a loss.

Clovis North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Sanger by a score of 3-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 4, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, Clovis East lost 3-0 to Buchanan last Thursday.

Clovis East was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 25-14.

Clovis North's win bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Clovis East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-11 record this season.

Clovis North suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Clovis East in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Broncos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
