Basketball Preview: Teays Valley Vikings vs. Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs
The Teays Valley Vikings will challenge the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Teays Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Teays Valley turned things around against Logan on Friday. Everything went their way against the Chieftains as they made off with a 53-32 victory.
Meanwhile, Bloom-Carroll came up short against Liberty Union on Tuesday and fell 53-43.
Teays Valley will have to contain Tessa Brooks as she made an impact in Bloom-Carroll's last game. She posted ten points in addition to six assists and three steals. Brooks has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Whitney Passen, who had nine points and three steals.
