Volleyball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Takes a Loss

Wonewoc-Center managed to slip by Cashton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolves lost 3-0 to the Eagles on Thursday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Heidi Baker paced Wonewoc-Center's offense, picking up six kills. Baker got some help from Bella LeMoine and her 11 assists. Finally, Baker was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Wonewoc-Center's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Cashton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11.

Wonewoc-Center has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Hillsboro on the 9th. As for Cashton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Royall on the 9th.
