Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Windsor). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets a 12-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the game before.

Windsor has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Windsor will welcome Windsor Locks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
