Soccer Recap: Plainfield Comes Up Short

After flying high against Putnam on Tuesday, Plainfield came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Killingly Trailbazers on Friday, falling 6-0. Plainfield have struggled against Killingly recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Plainfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Killingly, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Plainfield will be playing at home against Windham RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Killingly, they will square off against Griswold at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
