Softball Recap: Gibson County Pioneers vs. Peabody Golden Tide

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ripley, Gibson County was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Peabody Golden Tide get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Hannah Prestininzi and Andrea Criswell were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Prestininzi didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Criswell struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. At bat, Prestininzi went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Criswell went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.
