Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 59-30 loss at the hands of the Keokuk Chiefs. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 60-42 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Keokuk, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-27 victory against New London on the 6th. As for Keokuk, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fort Madison at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
