Basketball Game Preview: Hermantown Hawks vs. Denfeld Hunters

The Hermantown Hawks will take on the Denfeld Hunters at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hermantown is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Hermantown had to suffer through a 88-39 loss at the hands of Bemidji. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 60th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denfeld). They came out on top against Princeton by a score of 95-87 on Saturday.

Denfeld is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points per game. As for Hermantown, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
