Basketball Recap: Knowledge Academies' Run of Five Straight Victories Now Over + How To Watch

It was a good run, but Knowledge Academies unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 60-54 to the Valor College Prep Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Knowledge Academies of the 65-55 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Knowledge Academies' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Travis Campbell, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and ten boards. The matchup was Campbell's sixth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Amos, who posted 14 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Valor College Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ter Thach, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 16 rebounds. What's more, Thach posted four blocks, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was William Jennings Iii, who earned 22 points.

Knowledge Academies' defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Valor College Prep, they moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Knowledge Academies didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-33 victory against KIPP Nashville Collegiate on the 16th. As for Valor College Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 63-42 loss against Merrol Hyde Magnet on the 16th.
