Basketball Game Preview: Gayville-Volin Raiders vs. Centerville Tornadoes

The Gayville-Volin Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Centerville Tornadoes on Saturday.

Gayville-Volin is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 64 points last Thursday, they were much more limited against Freeman on Thursday. They took a blow against the Flyers, falling 62-29. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Flyers: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Centerville beat Chester 63-51 on Thursday.

Centerville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Gayville-Volin's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Gayville-Volin lost to Centerville on the road by a decisive 61-43 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can Gayville-Volin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
