After a string of 12 wins, James Madison's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chantilly Chargers. The Warhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

James Madison's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 15-2. As for Chantilly, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. James Madison will face off against rival Centreville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warhawks 2.9, the Wildcats 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Chantilly is set to square off against their familiar foe South Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
