Soccer Recap: Chester County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jackson Central Merry last Thursday, Chester County came back down to earth. The Chester County Eagles fell just short of the Madison Mustangs by a score of 1-0 on Friday. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chester County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Madison, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Chester County will face off against Crockett County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Peabody at 6:00 p.m. on March 28th.
