Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Big Lake). They took down the Paynesville Bulldogs 94-80 on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Hornets with their most commanding win of the season.

Big Lake's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Paynesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Lake is facing St. Francis at the right time seeing as St. Francis is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Paynesville, they will challenge Eden Valley-Watkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
