Basketball Recap: Berean Christian Takes a Loss

Berean Christian lost against Grace Christian Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Berean Christian were dealt a 91-61 loss at the hands of the Grace Christian Academy Rams.

When it comes to explaining why Berean Christian lost, don't look at Connor Copeland. Despite the final result, he went 10-for-21 to rack up 24 points. Copeland's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Kaden Duncan, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 13 points.

Berean Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Grace Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Berean Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will square off against Lakeway Christian Academy at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Lakeway Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
