Volleyball Recap: Santa Maria Comes Up Short

Santa Maria lost against Pioneer Valley on March 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Santa Maria lost 3-0 to Pioneer Valley.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-14.

Santa Maria has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Pioneer Valley and bumps their season record up to 13-16.

Coincidentally, Santa Maria and Pioneer Valley will both be playing Cabrillo the next time they take the court. Santa Maria will host Cabrillo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Pioneer Valley will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on April 4.
