Lockney had to endure a 12-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Kress Kangaroos 38-14 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Longhorns have posted since November 28, 2023.

Lockney's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Kress, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Lockney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-36 defeat against Littlefield on the 12th. Kress has also already played their next game, a 58-48 loss against Motley County on the 13th.
