Soccer Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short

McKinley entered their game against Kahuku on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The McKinley Tigers fell just short of the Kahuku Red Raiders by a score of 1-0. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

McKinley's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3-1. As for Kahuku, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKinley and Kailua will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kahuku will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Kalaheo at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
