With a playoff game on the line, Sandusky rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over the Clay Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Streaks.

Sandusky had a senior duo take command as Amir Aaron picked up 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns and Makyveon Lately rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown. Aaron was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 56 yards. Keelan Lockhart got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Sandusky didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Lockhart, Aaron, and Aazoriyon Bonner picked up one apiece.

Sandusky has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.0 points per game. As for Clay, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Sandusky is on the road again on Friday to play Anthony Wayne at 7:00 p.m. Anthony Wayne will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Sandusky surely won't give up without a fight. Clay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
