Baseball Recap: Knight Takes a Loss

Knight lost against Highland last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Knight came up short against Highland, falling 19-4. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Knight saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Villarreal, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Jordan Estrella also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Knight's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Highland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Knight will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Palmdale at 3:15 p.m. on April 2. As for Highland, they will take on Paradise Honors in a tournament on Monday.
