Vail Christian has gone a perfect 4-0 against Alameda recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Saints will venture away from home to take on the Pirates at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Vail Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Denver Waldorf and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Alameda had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a set and slipped past STEM School Highlands Ranch 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted since April 2nd.

Alameda wouldn't go down easily and took STEM School Highlands Ranch into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21, 25-19, 22-25, 15-8.

Alameda's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Vail Christian, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Vail Christian took their win against Alameda in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
