Soccer Game Preview: Nova Classical Academy vs. St. Agnes

Nova Classical Academy hasn't had much luck against St. Agnes recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Knights will challenge the Aggies at 7:00 p.m. Nova Classical Academy has given up an average of 4.1 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Nova Classical Academy and Maranatha Christian Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights came up short against the Mustangs on Monday, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, St. Agnes made sure to put some goals up on the board against Legacy Christian Academy on Monday. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 4-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but St. Agnes were the better team in the second half.

Nova Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for St. Agnes, their record is now 3-5-2.

Nova Classical Academy suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to St. Agnes when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
