Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Paige Ganga and Lydia Weber

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah was the 3-1 winner over Mishicot when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Resorters lost 3-0 to the Indians on Thursday. The Resorters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mishicot work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24, 25-9.

Despite the defeat, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah had strong showings from Lydia Weber, who had 14 digs, and Paige Ganga, who had ten digs and five kills. Ganga has been hot recently, having posted five or more kills the last three times she's played.

Mishicot was led to victory by Addie Dewey and Cooper Brouchoud. Dewey had nine digs, while Brouchoud had 22 digs and one assist. Those nine digs gave Dewey a new career-high.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Mishicot, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-19.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Ozaukee on the 11th. As for Mishicot, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Sheboygan Christian on the 11th.
