Meanwhile, Pierz pushed their score all the way to 68 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Upsala.
Pillager is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Pierz, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.
Pillager came out on top in a nail-biter against Pierz when the teams last played back in February of 2023, sneaking past 72-70.
