Football Game Preview: Green Level Gators vs. Green Hope Falcons + Official Tickets

The Green Level Gators will square off against the Green Hope Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Green Level and three for Green Hope.

Green Level's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Jordan on Friday. They were outmatched by the Falcons and fell 62-0. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 258th, while the Falcons are ranked 16th).

Meanwhile, while it was Green Hope who put the first points on the board last Friday, it was Willow Spring who put up more. The Falcons fell just short of the Storm by a score of 24-21. Despite 85 more yards than the Storm, the Falcons couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Green Level will have to contain Ryder Schorzman as he made an impact in Green Hope's last game. He threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 77 yards. Green Hope's leading receiver Jack Slone was Schorzman's top target yet again, picking up 90 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Green Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Green Level, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Green Level was able to grind out a solid win over Green Hope in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 27-14. Will the Gators repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
