Baseball Recap: Red Boiling Springs Takes a Loss

Red Boiling Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Pickett County Bobcats, falling 13-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 9-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Red Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Pickett County, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bobcats beat Red Boiling Springs by a score of 12-2 on Tuesday.
