Thurston took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Star International Academy Falcons, sneaking past 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on six straight dating back to last season.
Star International Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
After both having extra time off, Thurston and Annapolis will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Star International Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Manoogian on the 4th.
