Medomak Valley came out on top against Lincoln Academy on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Panthers never let the Eagles get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Kristian Schumann, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Walker Simmons, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Medomak Valley and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Lincoln Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
