Baseball Recap: Buckley Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Buckley's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Glen Lake Lakers on Friday. The Bears' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Buckley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Breithaupt, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Buckley's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Glen Lake, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Buckley will face off against Bear Lake at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glen Lake, they will be playing at home against Rogers City at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Hurons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Lakers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
