Football Recap: Hamilton-Wenham Regional Comes Up Short

Hamilton-Wenham Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 35-21 bruising from the Essex Tech Hawks. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Essex Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hamilton-Wenham Regional will challenge rival Lynnfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Essex Tech is set to take on their familiar foe Triton Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
