Softball Recap: Carbon Hill Comes Up Short

Carbon Hill lost against Cordova two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 7-1 to the Blue Devils.

Raelea Guy was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Carbon Hill has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Cordova, their record is now 12-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carbon Hill will square off against Winfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cordova, they will be playing at home against Hayden at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
