Jaden Broughton posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Broughton and Corbin will venture away from home to square off against Choctawhatchee at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will enter the matchup having just beaten Woodford County, so the Redhounds will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
