Recap: Tri-Valley Bulldogs vs. Notre Dame Spartans

The Tri-Valley Bulldogs lost to the Notre Dame Spartans back in February of 2020, but the Tri-Valley Bulldogs didn't allow the Notre Dame Spartans the same satisfaction on Saturday. Tri-Valley managed a 56-52 win over Notre Dame. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tri-Valley.

Tri-Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caden Leonard, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Leonard pulled down eight or more rebounds. Layne Yoder was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Tri-Valley pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Notre Dame, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will take on Nativity BVM at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Nativity BVM's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests. As for Notre Dame, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethlehem Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
