Baseball Recap: Notre Dame-Green Pond Takes a Loss

Notre Dame-Green Pond was the 14-3 winner over Palmerton when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders lost 8-2 to the Blue Bombers on Thursday. The matchup marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Notre Dame-Green Pond and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Palmerton, their record is now 4-5.

Coincidentally, Notre Dame-Green Pond and Palmerton will both be playing Wilson Area the next time they take the field. The Blue Bombers will head out to face the Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Crusaders will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
