Conway waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 72-49 margin over the Lake Hamilton Wolves. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wampus Cats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Wolves are ranked 98th).

Conway's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Lake Hamilton, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Conway will venture away from home to square off against Jonesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wampus Cats will be up against the Hurricane's rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.88 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lake Hamilton, they will head out to face off against Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 55 points in their last 23 matchups.
