It was fun while it lasted, but Fitch's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Friday. They took a blow against the New London Whalers, falling 82-42. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Fitch still got an impressive performance from Calvin Sebastian, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 10 points and seven rebounds. Sebastian is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Xavier Goode was another key player, putting up 14 points and four steals.

New London's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amir Hall, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Dashaun Phillips, who posted 13 points and six rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fitch fell to 4-1. As for New London, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Fitch will square off against Norwich Free Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fitch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.6 points per game this season. As for New London, they will take on Windham at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Windham's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
